Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society (MNRAS) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal which publishes the results of original research in astronomy and astrophysics, including work which is observational or theoretical. First published in 1827, MNRAS is one of the world’s largest and most prestigious astronomy journals.
MNRAS publishes Papers and Letters. Papers are typical research articles and do not have any page limits. Letters are short, self-contained papers presenting the results of significant original research that require rapid publication. Letters are handled along a fast-track process and should not exceed five journal pages in length.
See the current members of the MNRAS Editorial Board, or see the Oxford Journals website for more information (including Instructions to Authors), and to browse MNRAS or the MNRAS Letters archive online.
